Emma Goss-Custard started Honeybuns in 1998 when she was a student in Oxford. Trying to find way to make extra money, she used recipes handed down from her mother and grandmother and set about making delicious cakes to supply to local businesses and cafe’s. She makes handmade, award winning gluten- and wheat free cakes using locally and ethically sourced ingredients. The recipes are naturally free from gluten because they use polenta and ground nuts rather than wheat flour.
Recently they have released a new gluten free and dairy free range which is suitable for vegans.
Jessica’s Handmade Farmhouse Cakes
Jessica’s is a family business which started life in a traditional farmhouse kitchen back in 1998. They quickly expanded and now are in a purpose built premise just outside Bridport. The recipes and baking methods originally created and developed in the original farmhouse ares still used today to create that unique “home-made” taste. All cakes are baked and delivered fresh to order but will all freeze if required.
Rolly’s Brownies is local and based in Weymouth Dorset. All the cakes are made using local ingredients, and are handmade. They take pride in the selection of their ingredients for the brownies, resulting in only the best local ingredients being used to make Rolly’s brownies. The Free range eggs are from Sherborne, organic stone ground flour from Stoate and sons in Shaftesbury and butter from Craig’s Farm Dairy in Osmington.
The Brownies have won a number of awards for “Taste of the West” Awards and were awarded gold star 2014 for the Gluten free Chocolate Chip Brownies and Salted Caramel Brownies by ‘Great Taste Awards’.
These Brownies are so yummy and perfect as tasty local treats for bars, farm shops, cafes and retail shops!
